Sadka Forum
Over the past number of years’, we have organised Sadaka’s national conference covering ’50 Years of Occupation: The Roadblocks to Justice for Palestinians’ and more recently ‘Dismantling Israeli Apartheid: Developing Ireland’s Strategy’–held in Dublin.
We coordinated all elements of the events working closely with international speakers; Dr Mustafa Barghouti, a Palestinian physician and General Secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative, Dr Rima Khalaf Hunaidi, former Deputy Prime Minister of Jordan and former Exec. Secretary on the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and UN’s Palestine Special Rapporteur Prof. Michael Lynk who said in his report “With the world’s eyes wide open, Israel has imposed on Palestine an apartheid reality in a post-apartheid world.” Our work supported Sadaka’s advocacy work and generated national awareness to the Irish media.
