Palestinian Youth Group to Preform Nationwide Irish Tour
From September 13th – 23rd ,2022 a group of young Palestinian dancers and musicians from Lajee Cultural Centre, Aida Camp in Bethlehem, Palestine embarked on a nationwide tour of Ireland. The group brought their music, dance and culture to Dublin, Newbridge, Cork and Galway filling all theatres.
We managed the national and local communications campaign, working with news and feature journalists, photographers and videographers for social media. Their engaging and creative programme of dance, music, film, photography and talks was years’ work of effort allowing the teenagers dream come to fruition. The tour allowed the 15 young people, aged 12-17 years from Aida Refugee Camp in the West Bank to showcase their arts and culture, express their cultural identity and resistance and talk about their lives.
